Holy shit! Am i even allowed to say holy shit on here? . I ordered from this place and just got it...... let me just say how delicious, flavorful, nostalgic, (i can go on and on) this food was. I honestly ate it so fast i dont even remember what was my favorite thing. The chicken empanas & cheese empanas were good, but i think my mom makes it better though . The beef pastelito was yummy and with the hot sauce they provided even yummier (wish they gave more hot sauce). The shredded beef green plantain was different for me but still quite good, as for the dominican style sweet plantain sandwich.... oommmgggoodness this was my favorite now that im thinking about everything and repicking at it, this is definitely my favorite. Its a dominican breakfast as a sandwich and you just cant go wrong with salami, fried cheese and mashed sweet plantains. All it was missing was the pickled red onions. The sweet corn pancake with shredded chicken was interesting, i liked the flavor of the corn pancake and the chicken was good, i just dont know if i liked it together as a sandwich and or taco. Overall i liked it and as my first time ordering from here it did not disappoint.

I love the food at their sister site Cachapas Brooklyn and was so excited to find out the business expanded into Long Island. For a recent food festival at work I ordered several venezuelan cheese cachapas to share and they were a hit. The team at Cachapas Long Island handled my order without issue and delivered to my office in Melville. The cachapas were amazing and everyone loved them. Thanks so much, can't wait to eat from here again!!

What can I say? I love Cachapas and yoyos from this place. This was my first time trying Venezuelan food and it didn’t disappoint! Very tasty food and reasonable prices

Food was amazing. Got an arepa with 3 meats (steak, chicken and chorizo) and it was fantastic. So flavorful and the meats were cooked to perfection. My girlfriend and I also got tequenos and chicken empanadas and it was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be going back again.

I am never in the area and when my husband and I drove by famished, we had to stop. I wish I lived closer, I would have this place on repeat. Best Cachapa I’ve ever had, wow! The food is excellent, the staff is super lovely, the location is very clean. I had a cachapa Cubana and my husband had the Patacon with 3 meats. I took pictures of mine, but was unfortunately too engrossed in my own food to photograph his. Also by the time I looked up, his was gone, he inhaled it. If you like spicy food, ask for their homemade hot sauce - so good!

It's a delight to come here. The service is friendly and helpful. They will explain everything to you if you have any questions. The food is absolutely delicious and I find myself craving it all the time. I often get cachapas with Venezuelan cheese(just cheese) or the vegan option(black beans, avocado, lettuce, tomato). Highly recommend!!!!!
